Like many Dwarves, Gimli, son of Gloin, favours the axe as his primary weapon. United Cutlery- LOTR Sword of Eowyn

Born in Edoras, Eowyn suffered the early death of her parents, and was forced to look after her ailing uncle, King Theoden, whose health was rapidly diminishing under the increasing control of Saruman and Grima Wormtongue. The beautiful and strong Eowyn was trained as a Shield-maiden, and was considered to have surpassed many Rohirrim men in terms of craft and skill. She carried a full-sized sword, which measured nearly three feet in length, from tip to hilt. The bronze guard and pommel were styled beautifully in honor of the mearas, to improve the grip of Eowyns small hand upon the sword. The handgrip was crafted with a raised middle section of three bronze rings. A wide fuller groove runs down 3/4 of the blade to reduce the weight, yet still retain critical blade strength. This type of fuller was common among royal swords of the Rohirrim.

Against her uncles wishes, a disguised Eowyn rode with the Rohirrim to the Pelennor Fields along with the hobbit, Merry, in defense of their fallen king. Eowyn achieved true heroism as she succeeded in the slaying of the Witch King and his fell steed, however, she also suffered a heinous injury during the crusade. After being healed by King Elessar, Eowyn finally abandoned her passion for battlefield grandeur and found true love in the arms of Faramir.

Eldest son of Denethor, the steward of Gondor, Boromir was a prince in all but name: he was implanted into a noble house and heir apparent to a ruling tradition that spanned back for a thousand years. Boromir was a proud and strong man who was considered by his fellow soldiers to be one of the most skilled swordsman of Gondor. He triumphed as a captain in the Gondorian army while leading the forces against Sauron at Osgiliath, where he deterred a throng of Orcs that had overrun the former capital city. Following a powerful dream Boromir shared with his brother Faramir, Boromirs father commanded his son to ride north as the ambassador for Gondor to attend the Council of Elrond. He later agreed to join the Fellowship on its quest to destroy The One Ring. In a single moment of weakness, Boromir attempted to take the Ring from Frodo, which would in turn lead to his demise as he single-handedly defended hobbits, Merry and Pippin, from the hands of Sarumans Uruk-hai before falling under a rain of arrows. Boromirs sword was single-handed, big, broad and powerful - a fit complimentary to its owner. To use it required someone with great strength, which this skilled warrior abundantly possessed.

The blades flattened diamond shape and equally wide fuller reduced weight, yet retained strength in the end of the blade by stopping just short of the tip. It was equally effective for slashing against lightly armored opponents and for thrusting into more heavily protected enemies. The guard, similar to that of his fathers sword, showed a warriors flourish in that it was formed from a square-edged piece of steel that had been twisted before being curved into a crescent. The handgrip was wide like the blade, and the pommel was an elegant and simple piece of steel that added weight to balance the blade.

An ancient human-like race of Middle-earth, Elves are noble, elegant and magical beings in harmony with the natural world and its forces. Elves have clearer perception and more heightened awareness than humans, which was a valuable aid when Gil-galad, the last High King of the Noldor, joined Elendil, King of Gondor, to create The Last Alliance of Elves and Men in order to defeat the evil Sauron and his legion of orcs. United Cutlery- LOTR Gondor Infantry Helm

Under the command of Gandalf the White the men of Gondor defended Minas Tirith, the Kingdom of Gondor, from within the city walls against the siege of Sauron. Greatly outnumbered by Saurons armies, the Gondorian infantry did not stand a chance in open war. Miraculously, with the use of their trebuchets and archers, the Gondorian army held their own until the nine Nazgûl, upon their fell beasts, swooped in destroying the trebuchets and forcing men to flee their posts. This distraction allowed the trolls to push their siege towers in, unleashing scores of orcs onto the walls of the city, and allowing the release of Mordors greatest weapon Grond, a 150 foot iron battering ram shaped like a wolf. The gates of the city would not hold, driving the Gondorians back into the third level of the city.

With much of the lower levels of Gondor in flames, it seemed as if it was on the verge of a catastrophic defeat, until suddenly the Riders of the Rohirrim appeared on the horizon, closing in and driving the armies of Mordor away from the city, thus ending the siege upon Gondor and entering into the Battle of the Pelennor fields. Although the Gondorians were technologically advanced compared to most races of Middle-earth, the design of the helm carries details reminiscent of Numenor. The barbut style helm one piece, shoulder-length, and open-faced finished off the suit of steel plate armor that a Gondorian infantryman wore. The smooth finish and flared bottom of the helm offered better neck protection, allowing blows to be deflected away from the body. Adorned on the sides of the helm are seabird wings,a familiar Gondorian motif.
